In December2021, nuclear power plant Krsko, jointly owned by Slovenia and Croatia, produced 515,426.7 MWh of net electricity, which is 1.06 % more than planned (510,000 MWh) for this month. Last December, NPP Krsko generated 488,023 MWh of net electricity. Lower production is due to the shutdown as a precaution after strong earthquake in Croatia in late December 2020.
The plant is working under the constraints of technical specifications and all security systems were operable. Both the availability and the
capacity factors stood at 100 % and there were no reported technical problems.
