Slovenia: Rooftop solar power plant to be built at Ljubljana’s airport
, SEE Energy NewsSlovenian company Resalta said that it has signed an agreement on the installation of 500 kW rooftop solar power plant at Ljubljana’s Joze Pucnik airport. The statement from the company said that the plant will generate about 500 MWh of electricity per year, intended for direct on-site consumption. Thus, the power plant will cover about 10 % of the airport’s electricity consumption, improving its sustainability and reducing CO2 emissions by an annual 250 tons.
