Slovenian energy company Petrol said Standard & Poor’s (S&P) has affirmed its BBB- long-term and A-3 short-term credit rating.
S&P also affirmed the outlook of the ratings at stable, Petrol said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The credit agency removed the credit ratings of Petrol from CreditWatch Negative in December 2022.
In August, S&P assigned an environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) rating of 56 to Petrol. Petrol is one of the first Slovenian companies listed on the stock exchange to obtain an ESG rating and its score is above the global oil and gas sector average of 54, the company said back then.
