In March 2021 a total of 647,390 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool, which is a 9.8 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 20,884 MWh/day. Traded volume was 3.8 % higher compared to March 2020. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in March amounted to 55.92 euros/MWh, which is an 11 % increase compared to February, while average euro-peak price reached 58.47 euros/MWh (+ 1.7 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 130,990 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in March 2020, od which 94,412 on the continuous market (+ 3.8 %), with an average price of 51.95 euros/MWh (MI2) and 60.3 euros/MWh (MI6).
