Thermal power plant Sostanj announced that its unit 6 has been taken offline for planned maintenance. The coal-fired unit is expected to be back online on 3 January 2022.
So far in 2021, unit 6 produced 2,498 GWh of electricity. Together with unit 5 and gas-fired unit, a total of 3,127 GWh of electricity and 330 GWh of thermal energy was produced so far in 2020.
During the downtime, electricity will be provided by the plant’s unit 5 and its gas-fired units if needed.
