There will be no shutting down of of Srbijagas- Managing Director of the Company, Dusan Bajatovic, stated recently.
“We didn’t participate in determination of the proposal given by Ministry of Energy”, Bajatovic said to journalists on Belgrade’s detour near Orlovaca during visit to the works on gas pipeline.
Bajatovic repeated that he expects opening the discussion about this is in the structure of Serbian Government and he added that harmonization of Srbijagas and Energy Ministry’s plans about reconstruction of this company will begin next week.
He stressed that Srbijagas already has ready the proposal for reconstruction of this company which is being worked on with EU Commission and BSG Consultancy firm for the last two years.
Some elements of the plans of Srbijagas and Ministry match but basic difference between them is that if Srbijagas should stay integrated gas company or to contain from several companies where some of these companies would unite them in the new energy holding which mostly refers to natural monopoly in sense of energy, oil and gas transport.
Bajatovic repeated that he expects the best solution for Srbijagas as national brand to be offered.
Minister of Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, announced earlier that the plan of this Ministry about the reconstruction, which will be in interest of consumers and keeping energy safety, to be presented next week.
