Adviser of the Prime Minister for Energy Petar Skundric announced during a visit to Rome that Serbia will intensify cooperation with Italy in the energy sector, especially in the field of clean energy.
Skundric told the Beta news agency after meeting with Italian Minister of Economy Corrado Passera in Rome, where he is within preparations for the joint session of the governments of Serbia and Italy to be held on 8 March in Belgrade, that the meeting related to intensification of work on energy projects.
This particularly relates to the clean energy project and improving conditions for its implementation, which should contribute to the strengthening of economic relations between Italy and Serbia and rapid inclusion of Serbia into the EU energy market developments through Italy, he said.
