Albanian power company KESH completed the modernization of HPP Fierza.
The Albanian Ministry of Energy announced that an upgrade of hydropower plant Fierza worth 6.5 million euros is completed.
Most of the works in this upgrade were focused on increasing security and energy efficiency of the plant, optimizing the production process and ex-tending the plant’s operational life. Director of HPP Fierza Ergys Verdho reminded that total in-vestments in the plant amounted to some 15 mil-lion euros in the last three years.
According to Albanian power corporation KESH, the average annual electricity production at HPP Fierza in the past ten years stood about 1,568.2 GWh, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
