Representatives of Bosnian state-owned power utility EPBiH visited the Banovici municipality where they discussed the project for the construction of solar power plant on the Banovici Selo locality with local authorities.

The company is planning to build a solar facility that will cover the area of some 100,000 square meters. Its representatives discussed the cost and the terms of the land lease for the future power plant, while the municipality will harmonize its spatial planning documentation with the project.

In December, General Director of EPBiH Admir Andelija discussed the construction of 56 MW Divkovici 1 and 2 solar power plants at the ash
dump of coal-fired thermal power plant Tuzla with the city’s mayor. The two officials also discussed the desulfurization project for TPP Tuzla’s unit 6.
