Bosnia and Herzegovina, ERS took a loan of 15 million euros for the construction of HPP Bistrica
, SEE Energy NewsRepresentatives of Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske and Unicredit Bank Banja Luka signed a contract worth 30m KM (15.2m euros) on Thursday to finance the construction of the Bistrica hydropower plant.
This hydroelectric power plant will be built with full respect for environmental standards in the segment of environmental protection, supporting the transition of the Serbian economy towards the greatest possible use of renewable energy sources, the Electric Power Industry announced.
ERS General Manager Luka Petrovic said that this is a significant support to the investment cycle and that Unicredit Bank made the most favorable offer in the announced public call.
It is a project worth 102 million euros, which the Mixed Holding Elektroprivreda Srpske mostly finances – 90% – from its own funds and 10% from loans. The 39.5 MW power plant will be built by a Chinese company, Petrovic reminded.
