Bosnia and Herzegovina: RS plans to produce 8,028 GWh of electricity in 2020
, SEE Energy NewsThe Government of the Republic of Srpska (RS) said that this Bosnian entity plans to produce a total of 8,028 GWh of electricity in 2020, which is 3 % more than planned for 2019. According to the RS Energy Balance, after meeting domestic consumption, some 3,788 GWh of surplus electricity remains, which is intended for export.
Coal-fired power plants should produce 5,200 GWh of electricity in 2020, 3 % more compared to last year’s plan, while hydropower plants should generate 2,353 GWh of electricity or 3.5 % more than 2019 plan.
