The five final bids were submitted at the International public call of “Electric Power Industry of BiH” for construction hydro power plant Vranduk.
Bids submitted Slovenian-Sarajevo consortium “Rico” and “Euro-Asphalt”, JV “Strabag” and Croatian “Koncar Engineering for Energy and Transport”, Turkish “Cengiz Insaat”, Chinese “Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited” and Italian “Cooperativa Muratori & Cementisti “.
– Evaluation of submitted bids, carried out by “Electric Power Industry of BiH”, should be completed in the next 30 days – it is said in the Department of Communications in “Electric Power Industry of BiH”.
Given that international public call for construction of HPP “Vranduk” is implemented according to the procurement procedures of international financial institutions, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) which financed the construction of the hydro power plant in the amount of 63.5 MEUR, the report on the evaluation of the offers received with the proposal of the Expert Team of “Electric Power Industry of BiH” for accepting the offer, which would be evaluated as the best, it will be submitted for approval to the bank creditors (EBRD, EIB).
International tender for the construction of HPP “Vranduk” refers to the preparation of project documentation (main and detailed design), production, delivery and installation of equipment, construction works, plant testing and commissioning.
HE “Vranduk” is planned as a diversion flow facility with multiple objects that will constitute a functional unit.
Total power of HPP “Vranduk” will amount to about 20 MW, while the planned annual production of 96.38 GWh.
