RS Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Zeljko Kovacevic, warned that current situation in “Elektroprenos BiH” is not possible to be kept and he repeated that Srpska will ask again for establishment of its transmission company if the condition is not efficient on the BiH level.
If “Elektroprenos BiH” does not start construction of transmission network right now, takeover of electricity produced in energy objects that are currently being constructed as “Stanari” and “Ugljevik 3” and HPPs on upper and mid Drina won’t be physically possible. Stanari new TPP project is private funded by EFT and upper Drina project is the JV project with RWE.
-Government’s attitude is that “Elektroprenos” needs to be efficient transmission company regardless to the level of BiH or Republika Srpska- Kovacevic stressed.
