Prosecution will analyze agreements for long-term purchase of electricity from so called American plants.
Resigned Minister of Economy and Energy Delan Dobrev delivered documents about this to the main prosecutor. Main prosecutor, Sotir Cacarov, expended the scope of analysis of governmental authorities and market societies that are working in energy area because of misuse or criminal acts after depositing the proofs by Dobrev.
The analysis will include long-term contracts for electricity buyout of TPP AES Marica Istok 1 and TPP Enel Marica Istok 3. The new owner of TPP Enel Marica Istok 3 is the American Company “ContourGlobal”. The Company Marica Istok 1 is in the ownership of American Company AES.
