Bulgaria, KEVR postponed the approval of wholesale gas price for May

The meeting of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR), scheduled for 10 May, at which the approval of the wholesale natural gas price for May was supposed to be given, has been postponed.

The statement from KEVR said that, in the morning of 10 May, state-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz informed the Commission that the Ministry of Energy has launched an investigation on how the wholesale price of natural gas was determined. The investigation should be completed on 12 May.

Therefore, Bulgargaz will submit its final proposal for wholesale gas price for May on 13 May, while KEVR will schedule a meeting immediately after that to approve the price for May.
