AES Bulgaria said that its St. Nikola wind farm generated a total of 270,115 MWh of electricity in the first nine months of 2022, which is by 7 % more than in the same period last year.
In September alone, the wind farm generated 23,495 MWh of electricity, which is 13 % more compared to the previous month.
Saint Nikola wind park is located near the town of Kavarna on the Black Sea coast. It was built in 2009 and put into operation a year later. It has 52 wind turbines with power output of 3 MW each.
