Croatia: Dalekovod gets 30MEUR project for 400kv TSO line

President of the Management Board of the Croatian Dalekovod Goran Brajdic signed a contract for construction of 400 kV transmission lines with the representatives of KOSTT in Pristina. The contract is valued at 30.7 MEUR.The contract was signed in Germany, and the project was funded by the German Development Bank KfW Frankfurt.

Amount of works includes design, supply of complete equipment and construction of 400 kV transmission line length of 90 kilometers from Pristina to the border with Albania, and contracted period for the works is 24 months.

In project implementation, transmission line will follow the financial Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, reports Tportal.

Dalekovod has contracted to build this facility in the international competition by the procedural rules of the KfW bank.

Implementation of this agreement will allow Dalekovd hiring their own capacities in terms of design capacity, producing 3,500 tons of steel-lattice tower structure, complete construction and installation work.

Work on the design will begin immediately, followed by manufacturing equipment, and the beginning of construction is planned for early summer next year.
