Croatia, Day-ahead price increase by 12%, to 246.7 euros per MWh in December
, SEE Energy NewsThe total volume of trade on the Croatian electricity exchange in December 2022 was 806,680 MWh, the operator of the CROPEX exchange announced.
Of that, 696,184 MWh were traded on the day-ahead market, and the average price for the base load at CROPEX DAM in December was 246.72 euros per MWh, which is 12.4% more compared to the previous month (219.42 euros per MWh).
The average price for peak load was 308.62 euros per MWh, compared to 257.7 euros per MWh in November 2022.
In December, a new record was recorded regarding the volume of trade on the Croatian market within a day – 110,496 MWh. The weighted average price on CROPEX IDM was 251.4 euros per MWh in December, which is 14.1% more than in November (220.36 euros per MWh).
27 members participated in the day-ahead market in December 2022, of which 23 also traded on the intraday market, according to the CROPEX monthly report.
