Valuable contract for equipment delivery for HPP Klosterfoss in Norway is signed.
Koncar stated that his company Koncar-generators and engines has arranged renewal and of strength increase for two pipe aggregates for HPP Klosterfoss in Norway.
New aggregates will have total installed power of 15,6 MW after renewal. The contract with electricity factory Akershus Energi is 13,4 million EUR worth and it is issued in competition with the biggest world generator producers and it is a continuation of successful Koncar’s import in Scandinavian countries. Koncar GIM has already delivered 11 small HPPs on Norwegian market and production of equipment for 4 more is in progress, all this in contain of many years’ contract with Norwegian Company Småkraft.
Generator 35 MW strong is also delivered to HPP Djale on Cetina this way, and rehabilitation project for the last of 4 generators 37 MW strong is for HPP Binga on Philippines (in ownership of Norwegian Company SN Power and Philippine Association Aboitiz). Except for Norway, Koncar has arranged generators for other Scandinavian countries also for 45 bigger and small HPPs in total and even eight contracts for HPPs in Finland are is in different realization phases at the moment.
