Greece, FRV has acquired a majority stake in 600 MW battery electricity storage system (BESS) project, SEE Energy News
Spanish renewables developer Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) said that it has acquired a majority stake in 600 MW battery electricity storage system (BESS) project in Greece.
The Spanish company acquired the stake from Greek asset management fund Wootis for an undisclosed sum.
The project in question is divided into several sites across Greece, all of which are well advanced in development and are expected to become operational between the final quarter of next year and the second quarter of 2024.
