Hungary, 2.58 TWh traded on HUPX day-ahead market in July, SEE Energy News
The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 95.15 euros/MWh in July 2021, which is 22 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 77.9 euros/MWh.
Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 100.1 euros/MWh in July, 27 % higher compared to June peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.58 million MWh, which is 11 % more than in June (2.33 million MWh) and 12.7 % more than in July 2020 (2.29 million MWh). Traded volume on the intraday market amountedmto 274,482 MWh in July 2021, which is 39 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 8,854 MWh.
