Hungary, Country is seeking new, 15-year natural gas supply agreement with Gazprom
, SEE Energy NewsHungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said that Hungary is seeking new, 15-year natural gas supply agreement with Gazprom, adding that the talks with the Russian company are in the final stage.
Minister Stijjarto expressed hope that the country will sign a favorable 15-year gas supply agreement this autumn. He added that the price and flexibility of the new agreement with Gazprom would be discussed next week in Russia.
The long-term (26 years) gas supply agreement between Russia and Hungary expires this October.
