In September 2020, on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX, the average price of electricity amounted to 45.74 euros/MWh, which is 21.63 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 37.6 euros/MWh.
Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 49.74 euros/MWh in September, 23.9 % higher compared to August peak price. Traded volume in September reached 2 million MWh, which is 11.46 % less than in August (2.26 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in September amounted to 66,130.4 MWh. The total value of transactions in September amounted to 91.89 million euros, which is 7.32 % higher than in the previous month (85.63 million euros).
