Hungary: Increase of EV charging stations
, SEE Energy NewsCharging volume at Hungary’s public EV charging station rose by 30 % in 2020, reaching a total of 7.1 GWh, while the number of charges increased by 25 %, according to data published by the Hungarian Energy and Utilities Regulatory Authority (MEKH). The number of public EV charging stations in Hungary also rose in 2020, to 1,320 from 770 in the previous year. The most charging stations are located in Budapest (479), followed by Gyor (39), Kecskemet (37), and Szekesfehervar (37).
