North Macedonian state-owned utility ESM paid 1.1 million euros for the delivery of electricity for a period between 8 and 10 November.
ESM accepted the offers of four traders (GEN-I, Danske Commodities, ETMT Energy and Energy Active) and one producer (TE-TO Skopje). Agreed prices ranged from 199 to 259 euros/MWh, with average price of 240 euros/MWh.
For the delivery on 8 November, ESM bought 10 MW baseload and for 9 and 10 November, 90 MW each. Due to an incident during the weekend, none of the units at TPP Bitola are operational.
Previously, ESM bought a total of 26,000 MWh of electricity for the delivery between 7 and 20 November from two companies for 5.5 million euros. The price ranged from 198 to 228 euros/ MWh. The two suppliers are TE-TO Skopje and Danske Commodities.
