Macedonia: HPPs produced 30% of september electricity balance
, SEE Energy NewsTotal electricity production in Macedonia in September 2016 amounted to 364.4 GWh, which is 36.94 % more than planned for this month (266.1 GWh) and 23.36 % more compared to the same month in 2015 (295.4 GWh).
Electricity generation in hydropower plants was accounted for 30.38 % of the total sum and amounted to 110.7 GWh, which is 103.5 % more than planned for this month. Thermal power plants produced 67.86 % of the electricity (247.3 GWh), which is 20.93 % more than planned. The remaining 6.4 GWh or 1.76 % was produced by Bogdanci wind farm.
