Montenegro exclusive: Czech Skoda and China CMEC in the race for the construction of the second unit of TPP Pljevlja
, SEE Energy NewsNegotiations for the second unit development of Thermal power plant Pljevlja, as decided EPCG Board of Directors, will be continued with the Czech Skoda Praha and Chinese Power China Hubei Electric Power Survey & Design Institute and China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC).
– After direct negotiations and evaluation of all bids by the working group, EPCG Board of Directors has decided that the negotiations for the project realization of TEP -II construction should be continued and that the final feasibility analysis of the project and the draft contract with possible partners Skoda Praha, Power China Hubei Electric Power Survey & Design Institute and China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) should be done. This process will also follow the formed Management Committee- it was announced from EPCG.
According to the conclusions from meeting of representatives of strategic partners, the Government and A2A, and with objective to reorganize the thermal power complex in Pljevlja, Coal Mine Pljevlja, TPP “Pljevlja” and project of unit II, the EPCG Board of Directors has formed a Management Committee to monitor and analyze processes that follow.
