Thermal Power Plant “Pljevlja” enters at the regular annual overhaul, which will last until May 25th
Until then, this production facility will be out of service. There will be derived type works at key facilities during the overhaul, as well as completed the planned investment activities initiated in previous years, it was announced from the Directorate of Public Relations of Electric Power Industry of Montenegro (EPCG).
“There will be performed repair work over the next 30 days on the boiler plant and in the machine hall and ancillary facilities. The investment part includes the replacement of seized shafts of mill facilities, boiler plant insulation, replacement of pipelines in the plant for chemical water preparation, including the works on bringing the capacity of the cooling system of turbine plant to projected level, said the director of TPP “Pljevlja”, Luka Jovanovic.
Price of repair, type and investment works is projected at around 4, 5 MEUR.
TPP “Pljevlja” produced 410,094 MWh (megawatt-hours) of electricity in the first three months of this year, 5, 5 percent more than the planned production in the first quarter. This manufacturing facility delivered 1317 GWh (gigawatt-hours) of electricity last year to the Montenegrin electric energy system, which represents 42, 63 percent of the total amount produced in 2014th, in the production facilities of EPCG.
