By building an undersea cable to Italy, which is part of the transmission line to Pljevlja, Montenegrin GDP will grow by 13 percent during the five-year period, or 390 million euros, according to the Draft of Energy Development Strategy until 2030. Transmission revenues based on increased capacity and efficient implementation methods of congestion management will amount between 5 and 11 MEUR per year.
Government of Montenegro declared the public interest for the expropriation of land along the transmission route of 400 kV Lastva – Pljevlja, section Cevo – Pljevlja and access road to the converter station and substation 400/110/35 kV Lastva, at the last session. At the same time, the CGES (Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem – Montenegrin Transmission System) – confirmed that the expropriation of land TS “Lastva” is over, and it was purchased 85 percent of the land for the pillars placements. The total value of the expropriation amounts to more than 4.5 million.
– For high-quality implementation of the expropriation important preconditions must be created. It is primarily strictly following the law on expropriation, and providing the necessary funds, and it can be said that at this point CGES did a good deal of very difficult and responsible work when it comes to this segment. The expropriation of the TS 400/110/35 kV “Lastva” has been completed and the entire land was registered in the name of Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem – CGES. As for the access road to the substation it was purchased and registered 45 percent. The rest is in the process of expropriation. When it comes to parts of 400 kV transmission line “Lastva – Cevo”, here is the deal. Namely it was purchased about 85 per cent of land for pillar placements and partly recorded as the property of CGES, while part of the route of the 400 kV transmission line “Cevo – Pljevlja” is in the expropriation proceedings, said CGES to Portal Analytics.
CGES is entrusted for the construction of transmission lines from the EBRD already with 65 million, with the guarantee of the government.
The CGES reminded that they will build electric power plant in Lastva Grbaljska, ie. TS 400/110/35 kV, which will, among other things, provide quality and safe supply of electric power to existing and new customers.
– That’s not all. The realization of this important project will create conditions in every sense for faster economic development, not to mention the improvement of infrastructure of CGES in the coastal areas of our country. Also, within the most important project in the energy sector of Montenegro, CGES will build a 400 kV transmission line from Lastva over Cevo to Pljevlje, according to CGES. The value of the land determines the regional authority of the Real Estate and CGES said that the value of the total expropriation is 4.5 MEUR.
