Representatives of the Chinese “Dongfang” Company signed contracts today with the companies from Republika Srpska that will be engaged on the construction of TPP Stanari.
RS Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology, Srebrenka Golic, participated in signing of the contract with corporations “MD Peric” from Bijeljina, “Gradj-promet” from Doboj, and “Kors” from Laktasi.
Ms Golic stressed that main contractor of all works Chinese Company “Dongfang” shall listen suggestion from Ministry of Resources and to engage domestic construction perspective on the TPP construction.
She added that 1.200 workers from Srpska will be engaged in this phase. They will work under surveillance of 50 experts from China.
Ms Golic reminded that value of TPP Stanari construction is estimated to more than 400 million EUR while EFT will invest 150 million EUR still in modernization of the mine Stanari.
Companies from Republika Srpska that are engaged on the TPP construction will perform construction work on construction field preparation, electricity distribution and introduction for first excavation for ground of the boiler and turbine facility part.
These companies will also engage producers like companies “Eling”, “Graditelj” from Teslic, “Elnos” from Banjaluka and “Gradip” from Prnjavor for the purpose of higher quality work.
Golic said that the basis of construction of EFT TPP will be symbolically set on 18 May while TPP will be completely built by the end of 2015.
