Republika Srpska: Energy utility company gross profit of 11MEUR, production report overview

The Government of Republic of Srpska adopted the report of the Joint Holding “Electric Power Industry of Republic of Srpska” which states that the gross profit in the first half of the year was 11,4MEUR.

Total consolidated revenues achieved at the level of the Joint Holding in the first half of the year amounted 175MEUR, which is 17% higher than the same period last year, announced the Government Bureau of Public Relations.

Achieved consolidated expenditures at the Joint Holding in the first half were 160MEUR and were higher by 11% of the expenditure in the first half of last year.

In the period January – June it was generated 3538.82 GWh of electricity, or 24.34% more than the production plan, or 28.97% more than the actual production in the first half of last year.

Due to favorable weather conditions hydro power production was in the first half 1949.57 GWh or more for 51.51% of the planned level.

The government has adopted the report of the Parent Company Trebinje from the composition of the Joint Holding “Electric Power Industry of Srpska” for the first semester, in which the gross profit was 16,2MEUR.

The parent company had total revenue of 132MEUR in the first half, which is 25% higher than the same period last year.

Expenditures the observed period amounted 115MEUR, which are higher for 23% compared to the first half of last year.
