Romania: Nova Hydrogen launched a 5 MW hydrogen project
, SEE Energy NewsCompany Nova Hydrogen announced that it started to develop its 5 MW Nervia hydrogen plant project. The project envisages the construction of a plant with a capacity of 5 MW of green hydrogen production, composed of an electrolysis plant using alkaline technology, a water separator with hydrogen, a water separator with oxygen and a water treatment system located in the Cluj county.
The plant will produce around 518 tons of green hydrogen per year. It should be commissioned in the first half of 2025.
The project is financed by European funds through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The total amount is 10.2 million euros, of which the total amount eligible for European funding is 7.4 million euros.
Nova Hydrogen Production is part of the E-Infra Group, active in the energy market and the field of energy infrastructure construction.
