Romania: Swiss 8.7 million euros grant for sustainable energy management, SEE Energy News
Romanian State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Attila Gyorgy and Swiss Ambassador in Romania Jean-Hubert Lebet have signed an agreement on sustainable energy management, which is aimed at improving municipal infrastructure, increase awareness on energy efficiency and renewable energy.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the agreement covers a set of measures to be applied in the period of 40 months, while total budget amounts to 8.7 million euros, of which 7.5 million euros represents a Switzerland’s grant to Romania, as part of its contribution to reducing social and economic discrepancies within the European Union, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
