PM advisor for energy Petar Skundric stated to daily news Dnevnik that on 17th February the strategic partner for Novi Sad CHP power plant will be selected.
There are no official confirmations from Novi Sad mayor office but it was announced earlier that the selection of strategic partner will be completed in april, and that the bid validation includes also negotiations with bidders.
On the basis of Skundric statement it can be concluded that EPS and Novi Sad energy municipal power company Energija Novi Sad are satisfied with only bid from consortium of Greek, Slovak and Russian companies. Still two weeks ago EPS Director Dragomir Markovic stated to medias that EPS is not satisfied with financial part of the bid and that EPS expects that Gazprom is involved in talks.
This project includes the reconstruction of facility and one new power gen unit, to be connected on network in 2014. It was announced earlier that the investment value is 200-250 mil euros. This funds should be provided for construction of new combined heat
