Serbia, Chinese Sinomach interested in RES investments in Serbia, News Serbia Energy
Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Zorana Mihajlovic met with the representatives of the Chinese company Sinomach and discussed potential cooperation, Serbia’s potentials in renewable energy and the possibilities of having the company invest in new projects in Serbia.
Minister Mihajlovic said that all Chinese companies are welcome to invest in Serbia, especially investors in large infrastructure projects in electricity generation from renewable sources. The projects in energy and mining sector that the country plans to launch are worth more than 17 billion euros.
Sinomach representatives expressed hope that the cooperation in the field of energy would be realized, considering the company’s readiness to expand its operations in this part of Europe. When it comes to the Serbian potentials, the possibilities are big, especially when it comes to wind farms, hydropower plants and mining.
