Activities related to implementation of the investment project of the operating station “B 2000” installation were finalized when the new drive station, worth 5 million, went towards its final destination, the open pit mine “Drmno”. Implementation of the eight operating station in order is one of the largest investment projects of TPP “TE-KO Kostolac,” derived from domestic resources, which is announced on the website of the company.
Contractor was “Gosa Fom” from Smederevska Palanka.
Tomislav Subaranovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Mines, Natural Resources and Spatial Planning, also attended the ceremonial installation completion of the drive station. Director of TPP “TE-KO Kostolac” – Dragan Jovanovic, emphasized the importance of this business venture:
After the completion of all works, we will have transportation of drive station for a week. This is just one of a number of completed investment projects which TPP “TE-KO Kostolac” planned. It is a 3 megawatt drive station that will function as floor distributor after locating. The value of station is estimated at 5 million, and it is important to note that this is entirely our domestic product – said Jovanovic.
General Manager Assistant of TPP “TE-KO Kostolac,” Miroslav Ivkovic, said that the implementation was on schedule. It started on 10th of May when, after the stipulated two months, it was finally completed, adding that the investment of this project was necessary in order to increase production of mine “Drmno” up to 12 million tons of coal, and that the acquisition of station to 5.BTO system will be after overhaul, mid-August.
