Serbia: Power utility EPS exists AIK Bank ownership, News Serbia Energy
Power utility EPS is in the process of financial and corporate restructuring. It may be the case that the sale of the bank shares is one of the recommendations from Stakeholders IMF-EBRD-WB.
The state-owned power company Elektroprivreda Srbije (the Electric Power Company of Serbia – EPS) sold EUR 4.6 million worth of 316,927 common shares in AIK Banka.
Also, EPS sold 11.07% of priority shares in that same bank for about EUR 1.16 million. The total value of all aforementioned transactions exceeds EUR 5.76 million.
Prices of common and priority shares of AIK Banka of 1,740 and 954 dinars per share, respectively, have remained unchanged from the previous trading day.
