Net electricity generation in Slovenia in September increased by 18 % compared to the same month last year, according to data from the Statistical Office. Total net electricity generation reached 1,204 GWh, which is 16% less than in the previous month.
In September, production in thermal power plants increased by 29% compared to the same month in 2022, production in hydropower plants increased by 28%, while production at NPP Krsko was 2% higher.
In the same period, Slovenia imported 630 GWh (25% less compared to September 2022) of electricity and exported 876 GWh (+10%).
Households consumed 218 GWh of electricity, 6% less compared to the previous month, while the consumption of commercial consumers amounted to 588 GWh.
