Net electricity generation in Slovenia in October 2023 increased by 64% compared to the same month last year, to 867 GWh, which is 29% less than in September, according to the data from the Statistical Office.
In the same period, production in thermal power plants increased by 95% while production in hydropower plants increased by 21%.
The nuclear power plant Krsko was working only for a few days this month.
In October 2023, Slovenia imported 962 GWh (21% less compared to October 2022) of electricity and exported 776 GWh (+ 18 %).
In October 2023, households consumed 247 GWh, while the consumption of commercial consumers amounted to 589 GWh.
