Traded volume was 6.1 % lower compared to March 2019. A total of 623,797 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool in March 2020, which is a 11.5 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 20,122 MWh/day. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in March amounted to 29.41 euros/MWh, which is a 25.1 % decrease compared to February, while average euro-peak price reached 32.05 euros/MWh (- 25.7 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 116,321 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in March 2019, od which 77,947 on the continuous market (+ 5.4 %), with an average price of 26.45 euros/MWh (MI2) and 29.69 euros/MWh (MI6).
