Turkey, Traded volume on Turkey’s day-ahead market rose by 87.3 % in July, SEE Energy News
According to data provided by Turkey’s Energy Exchange (EXIST), traded volume on day-ahead spot electricity market increased by 87.3 % in July 2021 compared to the same month last year.
The traded volume in the day-ahead spot electricity market, which EXIST has operated since 2015, registered at 916 million euros this July compared to 488 million euros in July 2020. EXIST reported total trades in the amount of 17.78 TWh in the day-ahead market in July 2021.
The highest traded volume on a daily basis was recorded on 27 July at 33.6 million euros, while the lowest occurred on 22 July with 20.6 million euros. The average electricity price in the day-ahead spot market was 51.3 euros/MWh, which is 31.5 % higher compared to June.
