Ukraine is planning already on June 1 to significantly increase the export of electricity to Moldova, Poland and Belarus.
“On June 1, if the document is adopted, we will begin exporting electricity. First exports will be resumed to Belarus, Moldova and Poland “- said the Energy and Coal Industry Minister Igor Nasalik during his working visit to the coal mines Lviv-Volyn basin.
According to the Minister, now in the country there is a surplus of electricity, which can bring profits for state. Three years ago Ukraine received $ 700 million revenues from electricity exports. Therefore, the head of Ministry Minenergouglya sees no reason that would prevent such activities.
