Ukraine may resume electricity exports in the direction of Belarus and Moldova in April 2016, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry oAlexander Svetelik stated in Kiev on Tuesday.
“Now, we are negotiating. From the second quarter, we will be able to provide the maximum export (in the direction of these countries – IF) in the balance,” – he said.
The deputy minister added that with an increase in air temperature, and the abolition of emergency measures, the energy sector can significantly reduce the burden on the units of nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
Currently only Burshtyn energy complex is exporting electricity.
