Production of electricity in Bulgaria in January 2023 increased by 1%, compared to December 2022, to 4,440 GWh. In the same period consumption of electricity increased by 3% on monthly basis and amounted 3,364 GWh.
Consumption of natural gas in January 2023 decreased by 7% and amounted 260 million cubic meters, while its production remained the same and amounted to 1 million cubic meters.
Production of electricity in Bulgaria decreased by 14% compared to January 2022, while consumption dropped by 6%.
Consumption of natural gas decreased by 33% compared to January 2022, while its production dropped by 50%.
