Revitalized Block 6 of TPP Tuzla, 215 MW strong, was officially put into work. Revitalization projects is 62MEUR worth and it is financed by Bosnian energy company “Elektroprivreda BiH”. Lifespan of the block is prolonged to next 15 years and installed power of the block is increased from 8 to 10 MW.
This is the biggest investment of “Elektroprivreda BiH” in the last year. Lifespan of Bosnian biggest and the most important block is prolonged for 15 years so we have made all preconditions that will work on postwar investment of BiH which is the construction of TPP Tuzla’s Block 7. We are in the phase of making fond for work performers at the moment, and we will know who we are going to cooperate with in a half year period- Elvedin Grabovica, Director of BiH Elektroprivreda, said.
The block, which was put into operation after renewal, produces 1.100 gigawatt-hours of electricity yearly, and it is the one of Electro Power Industry branches in BiH.
Many officials participated in this celebration in Tuzla. Federal Premier Nermin Niksic was among them.
Managing Director of Elektroprivreda BiH, Elvedin Grabovica, represented different business results of the company in 2012 and the business plan for 2013.
Elektroprivreda BiH’s profit amounted 7 million last year, while significant 3 million marks’ increase is expected for this year.
The constructions of HPPs Vranduk, Podvelezje and small HPPs on Neretvica are also expected to be launched beside Block 7.
