Japanese Government decided to launch a process of making the feasibility study for the project of seventh unit construction in TPP “Tuzla”- it was announced from Japanese Embassy in BiH.
Study suggested by “Hitachi” Company will be prepared by Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in order to determine the possibility of financing the project in the scope of so called PSIF scheme.
Japanese Agency offers profitable financial arrangement and credit assets for private sector within this scheme and it gives the full support to Japanese private companies that are doing business in developmental countries within providing loans and capital.
PSIF scheme is directed on fulfillment of millennium development goals, decrease of poverty, development of infrastructure, stimulating economy growth and easing global warming.
The most modern technologies were planned to be used for construction of seventh block in TPP “Tuzla” in order to satisfy strict EU standards in the area of Environmental protection.
Performance study will be created in accordance with the rules of tender procedure for election of the most profitable offer/ project partner for joint investment in the Project of TPP “Tuzla” seventh block construction” announced by Public Company “Elektroprivreda BiH”.
Japanese companies “Hitachi” and consortium lead by “Toshiba Corporation” were found on the list of qualified candidates/applicants on tender which is in progress at the moment.
Japanese Ambassador in BiH, Hideo Jamazaki has stressed that environmental protection is one of the ground piles of Japanese Developmental Help (ODA) in BiH.
He hopes that improved technologies for environmental protection that can be offered by Japanese companies will contribute the sustainable development in BiH and future integration of the country into EU.
