Planned investments for the next three years period amount 1,69 billion KM- it is predicted with the new business plan of PC “Elektroprivreda BiH” for 2013-2015 period, adopted on Shareholders Parliament in Sarajevo.
The most important strategic goals in this period are beginning of construction of new production capacities, modernization and restructuring of mines and Elektroprivreda BiH in accordance with European directives.
Start of construction of HPP Vranduk’s six objects, small hydro power plant on Neretvica and wind power plant “Podvelezje” were also planned (projects are in final phase of preparation, the start of construction is planned for 2013), hydro power plants “Una Kostela” Aneks and “Janici” (the start of construction is planned for 2015). Two capacities should be in operation during planning period- WPP “Podvelezje” and the first phase of SHPP on Neretvica.
Managing Director, Nedzad Mujagic said that significant energy production increase is planned while he was talking about the business plan of EPBiH for 2013-2015’s period. It is a result of the fact that all capacities were revitalized in former period. Incomes’ growth that should exceed 1 billion KM since 2015 is also expected. 1 billion KM from 1,69 billion KM is planned for construction of new compensational thermal capacities and manufacturing capacities for renewable sources.
