Average electricity bill for households in November 2021 amounted to 29.71 euros, slightly lower (5.4 %) than in November last year (31.4 euros) and 8.4 % higher compared to the previous month (27.4 euros).
Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Zabljak municipality (16.8 euros), while the highest consumption was in Podgorica, where the average bill was 37.8 euros. 64.67 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during November, 17.92 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 14.41 % between 50 and 100, while 3 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros. 146,937 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 40 % of total consumers in Montenegro.
Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 102.05 million kWh in November 2021, which is 1 % less compared to November 2020 and 7 % more compared to the previous month.
