Ministry of Economy published a list of the bidders who have signed up on the first tender for the award of a concession for the hydrocarbons production in the waters of Montenegro. Consortiums participating in the tender for concessions for the hydrocarbons production in the Montenegrin coast submitted the bids for 12 among 13 units offered in the Adriatic Sea.
To remind, the three consortiums submitted bids for the tender for the concessions granting for the hydrocarbons production in the Montenegrin coast. The first consortium consists of companies Marathon Oil Corporation from Houston and OMV from Austria, Vienna. The second consortium that submitted a bid consists of Eni S.p.A from Milan and Novatek from Moscow, and third is Energean, Oil & Gas from Greece and Mediterran Ean Oil and Gas from London.
The first consortium is reported for units 29, 30, 26, five and one. Consortium Eni S.p.A from Milan and Novatek from Moscow announced for units 30, four, five and 10, and Energean, Oil & Gas from Greece and Mediterran Ean Oil and Gas from London for 30, five and 10.
Decision on selecting units for the award of the concession contract for the hydrocarbons production in the waters of Montenegro identifies 13 units of former Ulcinj unit with total area of 3,191 square kilometers.
