Romania, Electrica Furnizare is building a 0.2 MW solar power plant
, SEE Energy NewsElectrica Furnizare, a subsidiary of Romanian electricity distributor and supplier Electrica, said that it is building a 0.2 MW solar power plant for local poultry producer Fermador.
The statement from the company said that the solar power plant, which will be mounted on the rooftop of Fermador’s poultry farm in Henci, Iasi county will reduce the company’s annual CO2 footprint by 53 tons per year.
Electrica Furnizare supplies electricity to 18 counties across Romania, serving some 3.2 million customers. At the end of the year, the company said it has delivered solar projects worth about 13 million euros to partners in 2022.
